The European Regional Office of the WFTU wishes every success to the general strike of Greek workers promoted by PAME on 9 April 2025, following the extraordinary mobilisation of 28 February throughout Greece.
It is very important that in this period of strong international tension and war preparations of the European Union, the militant trade unions call the workers to fight to denounce the warmongering role of the EU and the governments and to renew the struggle to strengthen the demand for the whole of our lives, for wage increases and collective agreements, for the protection of our lives and for the exclusive public and free provision of all necessary services in health and education.
