Eurof, the European office of the WFTU, sends its full solidarity to the struggle of British workers against the government’s bill to restrict the right to strike.
Throughout Europe, workers’ struggles and strikes are growing in the face of rising inflation and the cost of common goods for families and workers. In the face of large popular movements in many European countries, governments are trying to attack the right to strike and trade union organisation.
Eurof has convened a European seminar on 15 February in Bilbao, Basque Country, precisely to discuss the attack on the right to strike and to decide on common initiatives to be taken in each country in the coming months.
