La Federaciรณn Sindical Mundial (FSM) ha recibido triste informaciรณn del sensible fallecimiento del recordado y apreciado compaรฑero Mario Huamรกn Rivera, ex secretario general de la Federaciรณn de Trabajadores en Construcciรณn Civil del Perรบ (FTCCP) y ex secretario general y ex presidente de la Confederaciรณn General de Trabajadores del Perรบ (CGTP) y a la ex miembro de la Comisiรณn Polรญtica del Partido Comunista Peruano (PCP). La FSM expresa sentidas condolencias y solidaridad para su digna familia, a la Federaciรณn de Trabajadores en Construcciรณn Civil del Perรบ, la CGTP, y al PCP: el movimiento sindical peruano y latinoamericano ha perdido a un gran lรญder sindical y luchador consecuente.
La FSM guarda gratos recuerdos de la trayectoria honrosa del compaรฑero Mario Huamรกn, fue un luchador consecuente y honesto, fue muy apreciado en el seno del movimiento sindical internacional fue miembro activo. En la etapa mรกs difรญcil defendiรณ a la Federaciรณn Sindical Mundial.

The World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) has received the sad news of the death of our dear comrade Mario Huaman Rivera, former Secretary General of the Federation of Workers in Civil Construction of Peru (FTCCP) and former Secretary General and former President of the General Confederation of Workers of Peru (CGTP) and former member of the Political Commission of the Peruvian Communist Party (PCP). The WFTU expresses its heartfelt condolences and solidarity to his worthy family, to the Federation of Civil Construction Workers of Peru, the CGTP, and to the PCP: the Peruvian and Latin American trade union movement has lost a great trade union leader and consistent fighter.
The WFTU has fond memories of the honourable career of comrade Mario Huamรกn, he was a consistent and honest fighter, he was highly appreciated within the international trade union movement and was an active member. In the most difficult period he defended the World Federation of Trade Unions.
