A beloved friend, comrade Debanjan Chakrabarti and my close collaborator has passed away. He was for a significant period of time a global leader in the construction industry and for construction workers. He was a consistent fighter with firm principles and values. A Marxist and a revolutionary. The working class of India and the global construction movement have become poorer. My sincere condolences to his family and to CITU and CPIM.
