La USB, que, al igual que la CTC, milita en la Federación Sindical Mundial, ha decidido llevar a cabo una movilización política extraordinaria en todas las ciudades italianas para denunciar la situación provocada por el anuncio de Trump de endurecer el bloqueo. Para ello, invita a las federaciones regionales y locales, así como a las categorías, a movilizarse y a llevar a cabo iniciativas concretas de apoyo a la resistencia en defensa de la Revolución Cubana.
Estamos seguros de que el pueblo cubano, sus trabajadoras y trabajadores, sabrán afrontar con la cabeza alta el nuevo y durísimo desafío lanzado por Trump y el imperialismo estadounidense, que, tratando de recuperar el consenso interno y salir de la profunda crisis económica y de hegemonía a través de la guerra, no puede tolerar la existencia de un país como Cuba que ha demostrado que otro mundo es posible con el socialismo.
Les enviamos, queridos compañeros de la CTC, nuestros mejores deseos para su XXII Congreso, que estamos seguros marcará un nuevo paso adelante para los trabajadores y dará indicaciones a todos los sindicatos de clase para combatir el capitalismo y el imperialismo.

The USB ( Unione Sindacale di Base) sends you its unconditional support and full militant solidarity in your resistance to yet another infamous tightening of the economic blockade that US imperialism and its lackeys, including all successive Italian governments, have been imposing on Cuba for over 60 years, considering it guilty of the “crime” of socialism.
The USB, which like the CTC is a member of the World Federation of Trade Unions, has decided on an extraordinary political mobilisation in all Italian cities to denounce the situation created by Trump’s announcement to tighten the blockade, calling on regional and local federations and categories to mobilise to the maximum and take concrete initiatives in support of the resistance in defence of the Cuban Revolution.
We are confident that the Cuban people, Cuban workers, will be able to stand tall in the face of the new and extremely difficult challenge launched by Trump and US imperialism, which, in its attempt to regain domestic support and emerge from the deep economic and hegemonic crisis through war, cannot tolerate the existence of a country like Cuba, which has been able to demonstrate that another world is possible with socialism.
