The Trade Union Association of Bohemia, Moravia & Silesia expresses its deep condolences and solidarity to the people of Spain, the survivors, and the families of the victims of the tragic railway accident near Adamuz in the province of Cordoba.
We express our solidarity with the workers and other workers and unions working on the railway. The loss of 39 lives in this tragic railway accident is an irreplaceable loss. We believe that the causes of this railway accident will be clarified, and its cause will be found.
This tragedy shows how necessary it is to comply with safety rules in the operation of railway transport and not to save at their expense and at the expense of human lives. It turns out that the privatization and commercialization of railway transport often come at the expense of its safety.
However, protecting the health of citizens and workers must be a priority.
