STOP the genocide in Gaza_______________________
The Trade Union Association of Bohemia, Moravia, Silesia unequivocally rejects the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip by Israel! The Palestinian people, who are today hostages of the state of Israel and the Hamas movement, are making enormous human sacrifices in this war, are forced to accept the daily inhuman suffering of a complete lack of drinking water, food, medicine, and medical assistance. With great concern, sorrow, and indignation, we perceive today the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip and throughout the Middle East, including Syria, which today, thanks to the State of Israel, has reached enormous proportions. We reject the policy and military activities of Israel, which aim to raze the Gaza Strip to the ground and, according to the ideas of the US, to evict the Palestinian population. We condemn the violence and death of innocent people and terrorism. Workers on both sides of the conflict suffer from this.
We see the main cause of these tragic events in the distant past as the persistent occupation of the Palestinian territories and the failure to implement the UN resolutions on the creation of two separate and equal states. We recall that an independent Palestinian state has never been established.It is therefore highly desirable and fair to demand an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. To stop the current bloodshed and ensure peace, it is necessary to withdraw troops and armed groups from the Gaza Strip and the occupied territories. The path to lasting peace in Palestine and the entire Middle East leads through the implementation of valid UN resolutions, stopping support for terrorism and the export policy of “so-called Western democracy”.
We therefore reject the imperialist games and the policy of neo-colonialism, the false dual approach of the world powers, especially France, Great Britain, the USA, which only leads to further tension in the region and beyond and brings nothing to either the Israeli or the Palestinian people.We stand on the side of the suffering Palestinian people!
