Faced with the unsustainable intensification of the genocide against the Palestinian people, Gernika Palestina has called for a demonstration on Sunday in Donostia, in Alderdi Eder. Euskal Herria has repeatedly called for an end to the genocide and for the Palestinian state to be guaranteed on the path to resolving the conflict. The aim of this new mobilisation is to demand concrete and effective measures to end the hell caused by the intensification of the bombings and the blockade of humanitarian aid.
At the same time, in line with international outcry, the mobilisation will call for measures to isolate Israel and the launch of a diplomatic humanitarian convoy with international protection to address the humanitarian emergency. In addition, it will call for the suspension of economic and military relations with Israel and the imposition of sanctions against those responsible of genocide.
LAB endorses the call. It believes that the international community, while guaranteeing humanitarian aid, must establish mechanisms for a comprehensive solution and break all ties with Zionism. It therefore joins the call issued by Gernika Palestina and encourages the working class of Euskal Herria to participate in it.
