PEO Cyprus expresses its solidarity and support to the general strike of French workers on October 1st with main demands wage increases, withdrawal of pension reform, ensuring equality between women and men, support and improvement of public services, measures for employment development.
At a time when all over the world, employers are attacking wages, pensions, social security, and basic trade union rights such as the right to strike, the response of workers is to strengthen class struggles and solidarity.
