{"id":862,"date":"2018-06-01T11:44:56","date_gmt":"2018-06-01T11:44:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.eurof-wftu.org.cy\/?p=862"},"modified":"2021-03-31T10:29:19","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T10:29:19","slug":"dockworkers-of-cosco-in-greece-continue-strike-for-3rd-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurof-wftu.eu\/?p=862","title":{"rendered":"Dockworkers of COSCO in Greece Continue Strike for 3rd Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear comrades.<\/p>\n<p>The dock workers in Piraeus Greece \u00a0continue in militant spirit and with determination \u00a0their strike for the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> day despite the fact that \u00a0\u00a0company \u00a0attempted to break the strike by using strikebreakers and fascists and filed a case in the court demanding the strike be called illegal.<\/p>\n<p>In order to support the strike, the Regional Trade Union of Piraeus where the leadership is of PAME, decided to call for a strike in COSCO dockworkers.<\/p>\n<p>We call all organizations to express solidarity and support to \u00a0the demands \u00a0\u00a0of dock workers to stop the anti-union tactics of the company COSCO \u00a0and \u00a0\u00a0for signing a collective agreement with better working conditions and salaries, health and safety regulations, \u00a0and against the use of violence and threats by the company.<\/p>\n<p>The European Regional Office of WFTU<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/eurof-wftu.org.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/cosco_strike-pame.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Statement by PAME<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear comrades.
