{"id":5497,"date":"2026-10-20T12:23:55","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T10:23:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eurof-wftu.eu\/?p=5497"},"modified":"2026-10-20T12:23:56","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T10:23:56","slug":"the-world-federation-of-trade-unions-condemn-the-assassination-of-worker-rabee-ubaidi-jenin-palestine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eurof-wftu.eu\/?p=5497","title":{"rendered":"The World Federation of Trade Unions Condemn the Assassination of Worker Rabee&#8217; Ubaidi Jenin, Palestine"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On behalf of the World Federation of Trade Unions, its General Secretary, Pambis Kyritsis, the members of the WFTU General Secretariat, and its 105 million workers worldwide, the WFTU, together with the Palestinian Trade Union Coalition, represented by its General Secretary, Muhammad Arqawi, strongly condemned the assassination of worker Rabee&#8217; Ubaidi, from the town of Zububa in the Jenin Governorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ubaidi was treacherously murdered near the town of Tur&#8217;an, within the Green Line, by individuals whose actions demonstrated a complete disregard for human life and dignity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Palestinian Trade Union Coalition described this heinous crime as a flagrant violation of fundamental human values, standards, and ethics. It emphasized that Ubaidi was killed while seeking to secure his material and moral rights, which he had earned through his hard work to provide for his children and family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coalition therefore called for the harshest possible penalties for all those involved in the crime, the full restoration of his family&#8217;s rights, and financial assistance for his children and family from the relevant authorities.
