Unione Sindacale di Base launches a general strike for the day 18th May 2026, following the attack from Israeli forces against the Flotilla and the imprisonment of activists Thiago Avila and Saif Abukeshek, released after 10 days. USB cannot stand still in front of such actions and the ongoing war and genocide in Gaza, as well as the recent attacks of USA in Iran and the bloqueo in Cuba: with the motto “Blocchiamo tutto”, USB is ready to stop Italy, governed by the far-right Premier Meloni (completely involved in Israeli and USA interests and schemes), in support of the Flotilla, the Palestinian people and to pretend the immediate stop of war, genocide and the rearm of European countries: against Western Imperialism we must fight for the rights and freedom of all the people in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the day of 22th September 2025 USB showed to the entire world that yes, is possible to block an entire country to stop war and genocide, students and workers together. USB is ready to repeat the experience and stop everything again. Many the appointments in all Italy, the main one will be in Rome, in Piazza Gaza (piazza dei cinquecento), h.10 AM, where Saif Abukeshek and Maria Elena from the Global Sumud Flotilla Italia will be present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
